The focus is on encounter and support: We create spaces where people can exchange ideas, develop concepts, and actively shape their living environment. Families, seniors, and people with a migration background find advice, offerings, and support with us – individually, uncomplicated, and close by.

Collaborations

Our strength is cooperation: whether with schools, associations, social institutions or the housing industry – including GWH Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH, Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt and GWW Wiesbadener Wohnbaugesellschaft mbH – together with our partners, we develop innovative solutions for the challenges of the district. Sustainability, education and social integration are the cornerstones of our work.

District Conference

The district conference will continue to adhere to the idea of networking in the district in 2025. Together, the social and cultural work in Klarenthal is to be further developed. Many challenges arise from the studies of the state capital Wiesbaden already considered in the district conference.

Current events pose new questions for social coexistence. It is always necessary to join forces in order to take effective action. The district conference has expanded its range of activities in recent years. It proposes joint projects such as exhibitions or activities to strengthen voluntary work. Some of the results have also been implemented with the district management of the Volksbildungswerk in the background. In addition to the district conference, there are other forms of networking in Klarenthal, such as the well-functioning KiEZ support network or the round table for the promotion of democracy. The participants are also informed about these.

Klarenthal lives democracy

„Klarenthal lives democracy“ is an initiative that is committed to democratic participation, local development and social engagement on the ground. We are an association of Christian churches, representatives of all democratic parties, the Volksbildungswerk Klarenthal, KiEZ Klarenthal, the Klarenthal district center and other actors in Klarenthal’s civil society. Our aim is to set an active, creative, local and concrete example for democracy, promote participation and strengthen dialog in the district.

Together, we plan information events, projects and campaigns on the topic of democracy. We want to network, educate, encourage exchange, inform and connect. As part of this, we have launched the „Democracy Week in Klarenthal“.
